There’s so much to explore here: from stewardship of biodiversity to land art to cultural heritage, all while taking the time to awaken our senses and cultivate a connection to this fantastic historical site overlooking the Trieux river valley.  After our walk, please feel free to join me for tea at the Petit Jagu Café (on site).

A Rare Visit to a Pink Granite Quarry
Ever wondered how granite is extracted from quarries? Or what type of granite is found at La Clarté and what is it used for? The answers to these questions and many more await you on this visit of the renowned pink granite quarries with Christine.

2 hours. 3 km. Uneven and potentially slippery terrain. Walking poles recommended. Children 8 and older are welcome.

The Guindy River: Tréguier’s Wild Respite
Nestled between Tréguier and Plouguiel runs the Trieux River, a haven for salmon, otters and people alike. Following along the river as it transitions from estuary to freshwater, in fairy-like undergrowth, we’ll head back in time to discover the role of the river in the lives of locals (the Trecorrois), as well as taking the time to observe the plants and animals that call this valley home.

Goas Lagorn Valley, A Hidden Gem on the Pink Granite Coast

In this charming valley near Beg Léguer beach, we’ll take a close up look at a variety of habitats and plants, open our senses and do simple breathing exercises– an immersive and relaxing experience!

Ploumanac’h: the history and wildlife of the Pink Granite Coast
Join me for a walk at strikingly beautiful Ploumanac’h where we’ll revel in the vibrant landscape and explore the details of the natural, geologic and human history of the remarkable Pink Granite Coast that often get overlooked by visitors!

In the St Euthrien valley, punctuated by birds calls and refreshing babbling of the St Ethurien creek, join me for an exploration of the local ecosystem and the human history in the heart of the Tregor countryside.

Ile Milliau: A Time-Traveling Visit Full of History and Geology (and a Picnic!)
At Ile Milliau, come for a walking time-traveling experience across thousands of years of human history and hundreds of millions of years in geological time! Unique in the Trégor for its ecosystem and its history, visiting Ile Milliau is also a special treat due to limited moments when the tide is low enough to allow for a crossing. Bring a picnic and we’ll share a privileged moment together!

3 hours. 2.5 km. Rocky in places and a slight climb to access the island. Open to all ages.

Stunning Coastal Views and Thousands of Years of History in Kerbors
From a ridge overlooking the Jaudy estuary as it flows out to sea, come discover the history of the beautiful Lézardrieux Peninsula, from 2000 B.C to incredible events of World War II.

2.5hours. 4.5 km. Mostly flat with a few small hills. Open to all.

The Secrets of the Yaudet
Near Lannion, overlooking the Léguer River and the Pink Granit Coast lies a strategic promontory (a real oppidum, Asterix and Obelix-style!) with a storied past dating from the Iron Age to the Middle Ages! Together we’ll take the time to explore the Yaudet’s history, its natural surroundings, and observe its natural beauty in the present!

Kids Explore in English at the Goas Lagorn Valley and at the Yaudet
Parents and children, come to explore, observe and play in English in the hidden valley of Goas Lagorn Creek and at the historic site of the Yaudet.  The goal is to practice English through movement and discovery! Includes a light snack, though families are encouraged to bring a snack to eat at the end of the outing.

2 hours. 2-3km. Children 6 and up, accompanied by an adult.

Parents et enfants, venez pour découvrir, observer et jouer en anglais, dehors, dans la vallée secrète de Goas Lagorn et au site historique du Yaudet. Dans un esprit bon enfant, ce sera un moment dépaysant et décontracté ! Une petite collation est incluse, mais les familles sont encouragées à amener un gouter pour manger à la fin de la sortie.

The Léguer River Valley Throughout the Seasons
The changing seasons give us an opportunity to discover the plants and animals that call the Léguer river valley home. In each season, we’ll take the time to slow down, open our senses, and discover this river valley that lies at the heart of how the local Tregorrois have been interdependent with nature for millennia.

2 hours. 3-4km. Flat path, wheelchair accessible. Open to all.

Movement in Nature (Yoga and Natural History)
Join Christine and Lisa, an Australian-born yoga teacher, for an exploration of the body in movement in nature. We’ll take inspiration from the landscape, the flora and fauna, and the human history of each site to incorporate yoga poses , breathing and meditation into our walk.

In Kerbors, the outing overlooks the beautiful Jaudy river estuary and finishes with a picnic. In Vieux-Marché we’ll start at the Café Bellule with coffee or tea, walk along the soothing creek and in the countryside, then we’ll finish at Café Bellule, where Christel will be available to prepare galettes for those who wish to stay for lunch.

3 hours. 4.5-5.5 km. Beginners to yoga are welcome. Slighty to moderately hilly paths. Ages 12 and older.

Trestel Wetlands : immerse yourself in a verdant and vibrant world of water, vegetation and birds!
Following a flat, wooden path, we’ll take our time to open our senses and immerse ourselves in the sights and sounds of the flora and fauna of a precious seaside wetland.

Loguivy Cultural Heritage Tour
The history of Loguivy-lès-Lannion, its 15th century church and its role in local history all come alive on this 2-hour walking tour. Starting from the river, we’ll climb the steep Loguivy hill, then we’ll visit the churchyard and interior of the church, and we’ll finish at the Watchtower, with a snack and a local art exhibit.
